What is it?



The Medifast weight loss diet is a four-week low-calorie, low fat and nutrionally balanced
program designed to help you lose weight.  The program provides you
with replacement meals, 5 medifast meals and you should consume one 1 "lean and green meal" hence the name 5 and 1
program. It is designed so that you only consume the required intake of
calories per day in order to lose weight.

 

The Medifast weight loss diet plan is great for busy people as you don't have to prepare food yourself, just choose your replacements. It uses products that are formulated with the right balance of protein, carbohydrates and other minerals and vitamins. Their products are suitable for men and women, It can even work if you have high blood pressure, diabetic or have high cholesterol.

Research has proven that women lose an average of 2-4lbs per week and men slightly more around 5lbs per week. This is provided that meals are monitored and the plan is followed exactly as required.

How does it work?

The clinically proven results are based on a defined formula diet. Each Medifast meal is carefully balanced with protein and carbohydrates to help you lose weight without losing muscle.

You can choose from over 60 different meals which can come in a variety of soups, shakes, drinks, puddings and more. You are to consume 5 of these each day at about 3 hours apart. Only the one meal you have which contains meat and vegetables is to be weighed and measured carefully. It also recommended to do some low moderate exercise routine to supplement the plan.
